Today was absurd. It started off exciting, as I got to be a part of the workshop that started the cost reduction project of my internship through a Skype meeting.
However, early in the afternoon, I received the news from the Netherlands that the Dutch ministry of foreign affairs has marked all countries in the world orange/red and they are requesting every Dutch person to return to the Netherlands if possible.
This made me feel really upset and confused. I am just starting to get used to the rythm, the way of living and my surroundings. Just when I started to feel like I’ve found my place, it all turned upside down.
Tomorrow I will arrange my flight back home. I’m also stressed out because all this chaos will now cause in a study delay. I would’ve expected the HU to be somewhat considerate about the situation, considering it’s force of majority, but that’s unfortunately not the case.
There are a lot of different things going on in my mind right now, so I apologize if this is not coherent.
