Today we started off with a meeting with Brigitte. We sent her our updated document yesterday so she could have a look at it beforehand and she had some truly great points of improvement for us. I really appreciate her critical questions and her advice, because it makes us check everything (at least) twice and makes sure we do not deliver a lousy job.
She told us that we did a good job on narrowing down our target group, but we still need to work on our quantification, which we also realized. Additionally, she told us that we can’t just say an assumption is true of false, because it is often subjective. We will also take a look at this again.
After our meeting with Brigitte, we had our third interview of the week, which was with Carin Cuijpers this time. Carin is the founder of GeluksBV and provides trainings and masterclasses in the training of happiness. This was a fascinating conversation. For starters, because I didn’t even realize before that you could actually train happiness. She told us that it is all about the skills and habits you adapt into your life. We also discussed with her the connection between happiness and loneliness and her experience with it this corona crisis. She definitely feels like they go hand in hand together and acknowledged the fact that students will feel more lonely right now. This is partly because she has done previous research about students and the pressure of workload among them.
We worked out the interviews of this week in our document and will continue to take all of their advice into account tomorrow.
I will update you then.
